High Springs, Florida | Depends on what you are using the computer for. You may not be able to find programs or applications that you used in Windoze that run in Linux. If you just need it for web browsing, email and office type applications it may work for you. Ubuntu Linux is a great operating system. You can run it off the CD to see if you like it, then install it. If XP is already installed, you can install Ubuntu as well and have a dual boot machine. The installation is a snap. I have done it on several machines. | |
