IOWAMARK- I guess you could say I made it from scratch as I always have a hard time following directions. ( if a little is good a lot will be better). The basic recipe I got online, but here is close to what I did as I never made one before. Use a standard pie crust recipe of your choice. Filling 2 1/2 cups mulberries 1 1/2 cups chopped rhubarb 1 1/4 cups white sugar 1/4 cup flour 2T Tapioca. Mix all filling ingredients together and put in pie shell dot with 1 T butter and bake at 400 for 15 minutes the lower temp to 350 and bake another 30 minutes. Cover the edge of the crust if it starts to get too brown. I used more Mulberries and more Rhubarb than what the recipe called for. What didn't fit in the pie I sat and ate raw. The recipe also did not call for the Tapioca but I know my wife hates a runny pie so I added that to assure that it would set up as I had used more Rhubarb. Post a picture of your finished pie as I expect a piece.
