| I'd say it all depends on your situation.
Personally we have a hard wire coming in for the fax and the dsl. I never use it for voice any more. My cell is unlimited and my daughters has free incoming so she just calls a friend and has them call her back.
I do have one question, Why would you want your number in the book where everyone can find it?
We still get calls on the fax line. Just rings once and goes to the fax. Always in the evening when the junk calls used to come in. I've had a couple of people ask me why I didn't worry about the voice calls coming in on my fax line and I tell them that anyone who needs to talk to me knows my cell number. If they don't know my cell, they don't need to talk to me.
If you have a good cell plan and good coverage you won't miss the land line. | |
