west central Iowa | We had a cow with twisted uterus a few years ago. The young vet had us lay the cow on her side and roll her over one way or the other. It must have worked because we went the wrong way the first time! We rolled her the other way a couple times and were able to pull the calf.
Usually when I call the vet, I think I am doing the right thing, but once in a while you get into a no win situation. The way the large animal vet numbers are decreasing, I am really glad we still have a local vet!! | |
