JD should be able to give you a serial port out. It needs to support the NMEA protocol which earlier version did, however I am not sure of the most current equipment/version, maybe somebody else can answer that.

If that is covered you should be able to use any mapping software incl. Farmworks. Obviously I am using FarmerGPS for this, see: www.farmergps.com 

The critical part is to get NMEA (standard GPS protocol) from your receiver.
