| What am I going to have to spend to get a squeeze chute? Is getting a used one an option? I would really like scales, what do those cost?
I have read a couple posts about how getting a good system and facility has improved peoples ability to work with their cattle. Nearly everyone has said it has been the best money they have spent. The problem for me is I don't have the money to spend on an entire setup. I think I can get a pretty good pen and alley built, which leaves the chute. I've looked on the internet a little, but haven't found much for pricing. Has anyone bought a used chute and scale setup?
The squeeze would be for working with calves and feeders only, no cows.
