Little River, TX | Is the Swedish Red any kin to the Red Dane?
In the early 1950's the Red Dane in this country started to show a lot of dwarfism. It was almost an AI only breed and one bull caused all the problem. Never heard of a Red Dane breed until I took Dairy science at good old Southwest Texas State Teachers College.
This was back when a 10,000 producer was a high producer in this part of Texas. | |
