I don't know a bout buying cows this fall for that price if fats go the way Markwright says and he is pretty good at that stuff. Maybe wanting to breed heifers to sell and save the corn [ in my case ]. If calves go for 1.25# and fats at 1.05# just what do you thank cows or young breed heifers will go for, they brought 1000.00 - 1400.00 this spring. Never thought a bout it till now but should we be looking at the breeding market breed to sell, cheaper feed. Could we be getting 1400.00 out of heifers with less feed cost. interesting comments please.
