central mn | We are feeding some crappy hay with a vermeer bp8000. I would like to give the cattle some grain on the hay to help entice them to eat it. Have been doin it with pails but almsot get run over everytime. Has anyone ever put a grain tank on a processor? I know u can get them from the factory but i don't like the way vermeer has theres on the side and i don't really wanna trade for a different brand, mine is only like a year and half old so its almost new. Was thinking of putting a box in the back betweeen the axle and the tub and running an auger out on top of windrow. Anyone ever do this? Or do u have a better way to feed the grain with the machine or what do u guys do? Any advice or pictures would be apprieciated.
