RFI90 and Tim are right on.  I run up to 30% hay pretty comfortably but you will need tub ground hay or run it through a bale processor, especially with grassy hay.  Grassy hay will wrap but alfalfa squares are perfect.  Alot of my round bales that I feed in the horizontal mixer go through the bale processor or get ground by a custom tub grinder.  Squares I just throw up on the Haymax and let it eat it them up.  Make sure you go through the driveline and the entire reel and auger drive sprockets and chain.  ALmost everyone of them has probably stripped a gear or shelled a bearing or chain at sometime.  So if it has make sure it was repaired correctly and is in good operation.
