Cattle Feeder

We are still paying around 30-32 cents in a monoslope. The yards out west asked me 30 cents for cattle going in 3 weeks ago. I think that they are all high yet. But at my own yard two pens, it take 6 cents a day just to fire up the feeding equipment at 2.50 dsl. The problem is we have way more bunk space then we have cows. And all the investor feeders have been hit hard the last 22 months. I have a bunch of friends that are just flat out, out of captial. My order buy used to keep a 1000 on now he is down to 150. If you call a yard out west and inquire about space they will call 3 times a week. They need cattle. I saw on the news the other day that in Iowa Mid American Engery has 225000 disconnect notices. I think we only have 2.5 million people in the whole state any way. And that is just one energy provider. So how they can move $160 boxes is beyound me. I dont get this.
