I had the same thing last year. My Grandpa, who raised cattle for over 50 years and loves to give his unsolicited opinions on everything acted like I was an idiot because I said the cow being ridden was bred and would calve soon. Two days later I was proud to show him the healthy baby calf. He just shrugged.
Why would a cow do this?
