sc ia | Over the years I've had that happen twice and both times it was caused by twins. With the first cow, she calved and still couldn't get up. The next day she had another calf, which was dead, and was immediately O.K. She raised the first calf with no problems. A few years later another cow went down and was really going down hill so I induced labor. Again one live calf and one dead. Two days later I shot the cow. The calf lived about a week. Not saying this is your problem, but could be. | |
