perryton, tx | Found one of my heifers (approx 700#) dead this morning for no apparent reason. I had checked them about 7.30 last night and didnt notice anything unusual.She was not bloated or anything. These cattle were pulled off of wheat saturday morning onto grass and had been fed some hay and cake. If she found some kind of poisonous weed i cant imagine where and the hay was haygrazer that they have been eating all winter. I know these things just happen but I'm seriously scratching my head over this one-any thoughts? Thanks. | |
