Saskatchewan, big whitetail country!!!
Wow. I am maybe lucky to still be here. One of my chores before the bus came when I was 7 or so was after milking the cows, to pitch hay to the bull/bulls/steers, which were housed in a rail fence. So, while dad went and fed the cows a round bale, I would fork the hay over the fence to the bull (s), and then the fun part. I got two 5 gallon pails of chop from the bin in the barn, hiked it over to the fence, climbed over and walked to the old tub in the middle of the pen, dumped the grain out, scratched ol bulls head, and went to refill pails for the morrow.

Was not a big deal for me at the time, but since then i have thought dang I was a small kid... Never once had an incident, we must have had good bulls, black angus usually. My dad was not a careless man, I suppose he obviously trusted his breeding and his selections as a purebred breeder over the years. But still. I am pale here as I type. I am nearly ill....
