Don, I've never tried the Rawson GPS speed box but it has it's own GPS receiver, no need to use starfire iTC GPS for speed. Speed is computed from changes in GPS coordinates over 1 sec intervals, no significant "drift" over 1 second intervals for the speed box's Garmin receiver, it should give same speed accuracy as Starfire iTC receiver.

I would be concerned about the Rawson speedbox's specified operating and storage temperature range (30 to 90 degrees), at least here where temps often fall below zero and climb above 90 during each year. Maybe the 30 degree lower limit is a spec typo ?
