I'd be a little worried if he is 14 months old and only weighs 800 lbs, he should be 1100 on the small side to 1350lbs by now, most good bulls will wean at 650-750lbs. We have used bulls at 12-14 mo. of age and never had problems but I have seen those same bulls left in with the cows for more than 60 days and that starts to bring them down in a hurry.
