NW Washington | I think you could just buy the tickets from VIA Rail and go for it. I think they are still using old equipment like AmTrak on the long distance runs. I would like to take that trip too. http://www.viarail.ca/en
There are some fancy train trips out of Vancouver BC that just go to the Rockies and back where you stay in fancy hotels at night and eat high priced food and take side trips on buses but they cost a small fortune. | |
