Subject: RE: snow storm in Gettysburg - Neat looking house

Kittitas Co. Wa. State

House with character !!  I'm liking it !!

Looks like the House roof is "leaking" enough heat to keep the snow load down. But I would be a bit concerned about the porch roof.  Snow is AWFUL heavy.  We had 3-4 feet here a couple years ago and ALOT of hay barns collapsed under the snow load. I went spent 4-5 hours cleaning off the neighbors roof on their triple wide mobil home.  After I was done they thanked my saying how they were "worried" as they could hear the rafters cracking and groaning at night when they went to sleep !!!!

I sorta "friendly growled" at them for not calling me.   Older couple with physical problems,, I'd finally decided on my own "that house has too much snow on it" and showed up with my ladder and snow shovel and told them I was taking the snow off thier roof.  Nope, didn't ask for one thin dime refused any payment aside from a cup of coffee to warm up.
