Part of my anger is my Dad DRILLING me on free-throws win games. When I played rec ball almost every night he would hang out in the shop with me and I would make 100 free throws before going to the house. Same in JR high. I hated it. So frustrated. It did turn out to be an excellent drill--I could shoot a free throw with pressure, with out pressure, technical or a full line up, frustrated, angry, you name it. Now to brag--shot 89% from the line in High School. A year at 93%. Lettered varsity as a sophomore cause I rode the varsity bench to shoot freethrows. I am not very athletic and was way out of my league, but technicals and injuries I was on the line. |
