Central NE | If you do go to pioneer village in Minden, after leaving the main building, head to the quansets on the far north end next - they are just packed with good stuff that you could spend all day looking at. There is a Cabellas on Hyway 30 in Kearney. GI has Stur Museum, but it is a yawner compared to pioneer village. Hastings has an IMAX theatre. You can go to the GI downtown area and see how the mexicans, somolis and ethiopians that work at the meat packer have redecorated the place. :>) Bring the heat! | |
