Last night I was sleeping like a baby when Judy shouted, hey!, someone's beating on the bedroom window.

Awakened and in a daze, I opened the blind a little to see a bright light shining in the window, and a person yelled !!medic!!  I was shocked and asked through the window what the he!! they wanted. This was at 2 am.

The medics said out ADT Alarm had went off requesting medical help. I told them they were at the wrong place, me and my wife were fine other than being startled by them banging on the window. I told them to go to the next house and check on my mother as she's been sick lately. They asked my 911 address and I told them what it was. They said my address was the correct one they were called to.

As Judy went to the kitchen to check for any missed cell calls, the door to the garage opens and our son Nathan that lives @5 miles up the road came in, dang! another shock. He got a call from ADT and the ambulance company that they couldn't get us to respond.

Nathan said when they called him they were sitting in our driveway with the sirens blasting, at his request they went around to the side of the house and started banging on the window.

What a night for Judy, myself, and Nathan. Judy called ADT and they said our alarm had indeed went off.

Anyone else ever had an experience like this? Probably took a couple of years off all our lives. It's a miracle no-one got shot. Shew!!! Then the rest of the night I couldn't sleep!
