| Ice has taken out most of the county,REC anyway (Sac County Iowa) . The Christmas storm was pretty bad, now I guess this is worse. Running the generator, we are warm, have all the essentials, water, TV, internet, hot food. Running a tractor all the time is expensive, I would rather buy electricity than make it myself. In 1975 we ran the generator for a week exactly during a Easter week ice storm, hope its not that long this time. Thanks for listening, just some thoughts while waiting. | |
