West Michigan | Drove thru Brinkley last week. Was down there duck hunting. Our trip got pushed back because of the ice so we didn't have much extra time. Was still frozen pretty hard when we got there. Hunted two days in stuttgart and two days around Harrisburg and Hickory Ridge. One of these years if not pressed for time I will have to try to catch a tour from Eddie and RAB. I do get to visit with a few local farmers whose ground we hunt. Always fun learning how they raise a crop of rice.
Did get to the Macks prairie wings and also went to Josie's steak house in Waldenburg on friday night. Pretty hoppin place for a town of less than a thousand. Not sure where they all came from. Was packed with people. There was plenty of ducks also. Everyone said how slow it was but we did really well. Had to break lots of ice and my shins still hurt from it. Best hunt we limited out with seven people in 20 min. Here are a couple of pics from my trip down there.
