Yep, would have been nice to go with you!  Lemme tell you, if you decide to walk to the Arch from where we were, you will need kumfturble shoes.  I wore my gym shoes and I think anything else would have had me calling a cab in a hurry.  The Arch looked SO close but boy it was SO far--I think 20 blocks!!!  One way!!!  We found out the hard way but were too stubborn to hail a cab.  Plus, I needed the exercise.

On the way back we found Citypark.  It's a walk-through park with sculptures and fountains but the neatest thing there were these brass squares in the ground, nine of them.  You could walk on them and they made noise (kind of like the piano in the movie "Big").  The security guard had learned how to do Jingle Bells on them.  I danced around really fast on them and made a jazzy little tune.  They were KEWL!
