central Illinois Montgomery County | We really enjoyed ourselves there, and the kids especially enjoyed swimming and riding the metro link train.We didn't get to spend as much time as we would have liked talking to everyone but it is hard to find the time when you have four small children to keep track of. We hope everyone did not find our children too annoying! Probably our most memorable part was after leaving Jakes steaks to ride back on the metro link train. We hopped on the train thinking the rest of the group was right behind us getting on also, only to find just me and family there alone amongst the "natives" . Thankfully, nobody mugged us! Thanks especially to Mrs Black dirt, Plowgirl, and Rolan for making me feel welcome. Hope to see everyone there next year! |
