Received this sad news from a friend. http://www.bangshift.com/blog/Jan-Gabriel-Pioneering-Drag-Radio-Ad-... Jan was also the announcer at the old Santa Fe Speedway for many many years. The best I ever heard. Back in the day Santa Fe raced 4 nights a week, sometimes more on holidays.
