Near Richmond, IN | Hey Rich, don't give it up. I quit almost 26 yrs ago but that was probably the 5th or 6th time I had quit up to then. Finally told myself I'd never ever put another one of those in my mouth again and I've stuck to it. I really think you've got to be ready mentally and then it's not too bad-back then I drank a fair amount of beer so I had to quit that for a few days but not too long really. I still grabbed for my shirt pocket for a few years every once in a while and when others lit up it was tempting but each day adds to your time so don't give it up.
Now when I want to buy a new toy (Harley or other bike or gun) I price it in how much I'm saving in cig's so it makes it easy to buy it with the price they are now!!!
I do like that ad though, think I'll send it to someone I know who smokes. | |
