I’ve had my irrigated crops scouted for about the last 20 years. He checks them once a week from day of planting until mature. Last year it cost me 9.50 an acre, the cost includes soil testing, fertilizer, and herbicide, recommendations, and watering schedule. I very seldom get to talk to the guy when he is here but he leaves me a written report every week.
