If you do go to Beale Street, Rum Boogie Cafe is one of my favorites. I usually order the Memphis Platter, it has ribs, big catfish fillet, red beans and rice and cornbread. They usually have live music also. Across the street is a piano bar that really gets going after the sun goes down can't remember the name right now. There's plenty to do, eat and see on Beale Street. Good Luck!
