| In my opinion, the best computer on the market today is the 17 inch iMac. I have used both Windows PCs and Macs and, for the money, Macs win. The new Macs will also run Microsoft. If you prefer to stick with a Windows PC, not sure there is much difference between machines in the same price range. Before you buy a new PC with Vista, be sure you determine what software and external hardware you use now and want to continue to use is compatible with Vista. Also, with Vista, you may want 2GB of Ram.
Not sure why you want two hard drives. If for storage, I suggest your get a single internal hard drive and a separate external hard drive that you store away from your computer. This way, if your computer is destroyed, you will still have your backup drive.
