Mechanicville, NY | I liked the movie very much, but after wards I was thinking that a lot of the content was adult stuff; joy of marriage and falling in love, the pain of losing a baby and not being able to have children, putting your dream off until it is too late, losing your love, your best friend etc. etc. For me one of the most touching moments was when he dumped all of the furniture oout of the house to try and save Russel. When I saw their chairs they used to sit in together, on the ground I cried. i don't think kids will get most of it. Also there were so many loose ends left: where was Russel's father? What did Mr. Good Old Guy do when they got home? Who is Phyllis? Was that Russell's mom at the ceremony? What happened to the dogs?? Ack! These are burning questions! | |
