Harristown, IL | First off I have always lived here in Macon County. Except when I went to lake land (1718 S. 19th St.)
I farmed with my cousin in Cumberland. Pretty much in a straight line North to South. North farm was at Janesville 1 mile east. South farm was about a mile north of Toledo and a mile east. rest scattered in between. Home base,and cousins house was east of Bradbury. It is 80 miles from my door to his, and I drove my equipment back and forth. It's been 4 years since I quit farming down there. Don't miss the drive one bit. | |
