Nope, this year the team didnt do the Richmond Tournament. The coaches didnt want to do that long pull again, cause last year, the boys were pooped at the end of it. They didnt make it into the Macs, cause you have to be top 4 in the north or the south divisions to get in. Our team isnt doing as well as they hoped. Our goals against is 4th in the league, so the D and the tenders are doing great. ( my boy is a D man) but, they cant seem to put the puck in the net! We have one of the lowest goals scored in the league. And, its for a multitude of reasons. Every time we lose, it seems to be by one goal. Its always 4-3 or something like that.
They will have a pretty early exit out of the season it looks like. Regular season ends Feb 15th. I dont think they are going to go on a run now, and make the playoffs. But.... the season has been good for my son. The D coach is outstanding. Good guy, and very knowledgable. So, that has been a bonus.
