Washington, Kansas & Lincoln, Nebraska | Friend has a Compaq laptop that has Win 98 OS. It gets to the point of starting to load desktop icons, then gives error message for internet explorer and says it will have to close IE. When you close that error box everything freezes and you have to do a forced shut down and start over, whereupon the same thing happens again. Is there a way to correct this and get it to boot up? TIA |
