what do they do for back-up power....from what i seen at some big turbines that it is not "free" energy as holes are about 20' deep and approx. 80' x 80' and then poured full of concrete and have leases for generations.....some neighbors really want them (or the $10k a yr.) but i think i will pass as not ever sure where the farm will be or what it will look like in 10-50 yrs.
