Amherst WI | My post below got me thinking below on how this country doesn't want to spend much on food.
If there is 12.9 oz of corn in each 18 oz box of corn flakes, and the corn flakes are worth $3.50 a box and 200 bushel corn, there is $48,620.15 per acre. Obviously there is packageing, marketing, trucking, milling, supermarkets markup and all that other jazz to come out of this figure but it really makes a guy sick when he is tickled pink to get $1,000 per acre and Kellog's or some other similar company is making this much.
