While path to path WAAS correction is already at an astonishing level, Omnistar and RTK go even further....
But the only system to allow you to consistently come back to the very same point days, weeks, years after your first pass is RTK as it references to a fix point: your RTK base station. Therefore, if you go with a mobile RTK base station, you have to ensure that your base station comes always to the very same spot with absolutely no deviation vs last time!
On the other hand, bear in mind that RTK has an almost immediate upstart, while Omnistar is aquisitive and can take very long (up to 30 min.) to reach a consistent level.
