Alberta, Canada | Well yes some questions have been answered but I am still unsure of whether I can ever use the AFS Pro 600 on a JD 6420. I realize everyone is unsure of what CNH is going to do in the future about making AFS equip. compatable with green paint. From what I understand, in-order to make the 600 work on this tractor they will have to come out with a valve and steering sensor along with the proper software for the NAV II. Am I right on this ? Is this 1 year, or 2 or more years away from happeining ?
I would probably decide to carry on with AFS and the Pro 600 to use on the MX 245 and 7010 if I am fairly certain that a kit will come out for me to use it on the 6420 in the near future.
I agree that the company who has the Precision Ag equip. that is best suited for open architecture and usable on different paint will have the biggest market share. | |
