| Consider how many customers your wireless provider has on the system and the pipe they are using out. (ie: likely a T1)
Many carriers do not guarantee speed, and when several users get on one line, each user may be diminished in equal proportions.
Our wireless carrier has "over-sold" its capacity. At night, I can get close to rated rates, but during the 'rush hour' I get a fraction of the rated speed. I'm switching to DSL.
I'll always do wired over wireless if given the choice. But there are issues with DSL I'm sure I'll get to experience, too. | |
