Central AR | Have a computer at the farm HQ that is mainly used to record video surveillance and has broadband internet connection for remote viewing. System sits behind a router with the necessary ports forwarded. I thought that since I was behind the router that I would be safe. I was wrong. I know that at times there has been some unauthorized web surfing and thats how things probably got started. Now computer is eaten alive with spyware. I downloaded Spybot S&D on to a USB flash drive from a clean computer and transfered and ran in on the infected one. Found about 80 problems, cleaned it off and all looked well. The next day some of those problems came back along with a new one or two, all spyware. I need a spyware removal program that will work and some advice on how to make this computer bullet proof. Norton is out, won't run with surveillance software, been there on another machine. I put AVG free on the other day, but spyware is the main problem. Any suggestion beside reformat. | |
