Maybe we're talking about different things....but lots & lots of JD planters pull from 3pt (actually only using 2 pts) hitch. There's a company that makes a conversion hitch for Kinze to also pull the same way. JD750 drills have pulled from the 3pt for many yrs also. Gene Shoup made a front fold conversion a long time ago for JD7000 stiff drawbar planters. It pulled from the 3 pt also.
