After I took the time to personalize expense and income categories to better fit my occupation, (farming & real estate) I find it to be very easy to use and learn. Some people also swear by the Quickbooks series also made my Intuit. It really depends what you want to do with the accounting program. Quicken is a glorified, computerized version of a checkbook with some enterprising thrown in, while the Quickbooks version will do payroll, invoices etc. for business purpose. If you have a tax accountant, I would ask him what he preferred to work with and what he would like to see you bring for records. That will make a huge difference I think. | |
