Brazilton KS | I'm not too impressed with the PDA's myself. Given those choices I would probalby go with the laptop.
How about a desktop for the heavy lifting and a cheaper laptop in place of the PDA? A relatively outdated laptop is going to outperform the Ipaq, and you might be able to get more computing power for the same money by having two lower end machines instead of one more expensive laptop to try to do it all.
Software cost may be an issue, depending on how many things you will need and how the licensing is regarding one user/multiple machines on whatever you use. | |
