They're fine -- they're AMD's mobile CPU family (ie, a CPU for a laptop, but could be used in a desktop). There are actually 2 CPU's in one package.
You'd compare them to Intel's Core Duo family, also with 2 CPU's in one package. There's nothing wrong with the AMD at all. In terms of absolute execution speed comparisons, I think the Core Duo has the edge, but you're not going to see this difference unless you're running very specific benchmarks. For most business applications, you'd never be able to see a speed difference. |
