| Make labels for what you want.
check boxes on messages you want that label to apply to
click drop down box of more actions and select label you want
it will show up on message in small green print at the start of the line to show it's there
while the messages are still selected with the check box click archiver
messages will disappear from your main list
click on the left side where it lists the labels and it will bring up a list of those messages that you applied that label to
Gmail also has a search feature to bring up old emails
just a note, you can't right click and paste in a message, but you can put the cursor where you want it, then click edit/paste to get the job done | |
