Clinton County, Michigan | We have used All in One for a while and they are nice. Pretty much everything I've seen sold now has a really good print resolution in color. The question is exactly how many functions do you need in one. Most home users get a combination Printer-Scanner-Copier, while some home users and some small businesses want Printer-Scanner-Copier-Fax. Dad just had to replace his 2 year old HP OfficeJet v40 because of a "carriage jam" problem and this time went with a Brother MFC 240C P-S-C-F. One of the features we liked on this was it is flatbed or up to 10 sheet feeder. Also the ink is a lot cheaper than HP. For my home I have a Epson Stylus CX4800 P-S-C, and it works well so far. These 3 I have mentioned were not much over $100. With technology today it is not worth a home user spending over $200/250 for a printer unless it has a feature you really need. These printers are intended to be "throw away" items rather than fixing them. | |
