Hanford, Ca | I have been running that setup for two seasons now. We have a 15.5 yard ejector scraper and pull it with an 8520 ILS. I like the way the Trimble stuff interfaces with the tractor it takes some clutter out of the setup and it is a one touch to initiate the scraper finding grade. Very easy on the operator and a pretty good setup in my opinion. I would like to step up to the Topcon GPS setup in the next few years because I have heard some good things from a couple of custom operators that jumped from the Trimble Laser to the Topcon GPS setup. They said its night and day and tell me to switch asap. | |
