2014 can be a confusing year because it was a transition year. It's the last year of the 8335R with no DEF and the small gen 3 armrest. There are also 2014 8345Rs and these have DEF and the gen 4 screen. We have not had any issue with the DPF, no DEF systems. If it has ILS, there is some maintenance involved, but it is a nice system.
