I had an issue last spring and have since fixed it, now I can’t remember which is the inlet or tank side of the thermal transfer unit. I don’t want to try the 50/50 chance. It’s bad getting old and can’t remember what I did last week let alone a year ago. I should have taken a picture.
The inlet should go into the outside layer of the heat exchanger. The outlet comes from the inner layer.
